Delicious in Eagle Rock.. Recently met some friends for dinner, we met at the Colorado Wine Company (see my review for that) and ordered food from Four Cafe, they delivered to us at CWC. One of my friends was a little skeptical she thought it sounded too "healthy", healthy or not, OMG I thought it was delish! I ordered the curry cauliflower soup which was very good and the short rib grilled cheese which I devoured. There were many other things on the menu I wanted to try so I will go back for sure.

The seasonal menu updates four times a year (get it, Four Cafe?) while the small space keeps it steady with warm reclaimed wood accents that show up everywhere from the tables to a funky back wall covered in scrap boards. The tall ceilings, exposed beams, blown-glass light fixtures and potted succulents give the space a cool, rustic-modern vibe. Order at the counter and peruse a case of goodies, which may include anything from Moroccan carrot salad with olives to soba noodles with chicken and shredded cabbage in a peanut dressing. Sandwiches filled with pressed chicken, flat iron steak, roasted pork loin and more are served with mixed greens on the side, while soups may include anything from beef brisket chili to spicy red lentil. Wash it all down with a refreshing all-natural soda made in house, or perhaps a rose petal lemonade. Just don’t leave without indulging in the fantastic sweets like blood orange upside down cake or Meyer lemon yogurt cake. With a menu this inspiring, one can only imagine what’s in store next season … and the next.
