Citysearch Editorial Review. Analog never looked so cutting-edge: Santa Monica Boulevard's vibrant outlet for all things lomo (that's a non-digital, film photography movement emphasizing impulsive, color-saturated and lighthearted picture-taking, kids) is the biggest retail outlet/community space and gallery of its kind in the world. Sure, there are galleries in Berlin, Guangzhou, London, New York, Rio and Seoul (after all, traveling lomographers need a space to meet up and swap photos, take part in workshops and buy necessities from the Lomography product line), but this glass-walled beauty just east of Crescent Heights fills two stories with these official goods, in addition to a 17,000 image-filled "LomoWall" for lomo gazing. There are numerous lounge areas for photo club meetings, 50+ varieties of film to choose from, on-site film-processing services, weekly workshops, "LomoJourneys" around the neighborhood and much more.
