Geared towards business travelers and convention goers (the hotel is within walking distance), the Ritz has its own small lobby and entrance apart from the JW Marriott. City views are remarkable and beds are decadently comfortable with handy bedside spotlights; bathrooms have a TV in-mirror and well-lit makeup mirror, while most rooms have a sunken tub and shower. Splurge for the Club Level rooms, which include access to the Ritz’s expansive lounge and the daily spread of five light meals and open bar. A rooftop pool and bar area is a quiet spot to relax above downtown. The second floor spa is designed to wow with its all white, space-age look, large steam room and elegant nail care room. WP24 is the hotel’s 24th floor bar and dining room from celeb chef Wolfgang Puck and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering Cal-Asian specialties and (once again) impressive city views.
