Citysearch Editorial Review. Like the original on Sunset Boulevard, this Anaya brothers' Culver City outpost is a taqueria with attitude. The bright pink paint, colorful skeleton accents and hanging sombreros are like an open fiesta invitation for Westsiders in need of a pollo mole burrito, a taco filled with carnitas or (gulp) lengua. If your own tongue can stand the heat, ask for the diablo salsa, a delicious concoction of peppers that will truly leave your mouth burning. Individual tacos range from $2.50 to $2.95, and burritos start at $7.50. The eatery also does sopes, tortas, enchiladas, taquitos, and quesadillas with all the various meats (asada, lightly breaded shrimp, al pastor, and more), though it'd be a good idea to save room for the corn on the cob, which comes slathered with Mexican cream, cheese and chili powder. Alas, there's no beer to wash it all down, but you can get a sweet bottle of Mexican Coke (made with real sugar instead of high-fructose corn syrup) to properly complement your Mexican meal.
