full service makeup studio, fast makeovers
If you need your makeup done well and aren't sure if you can pull it off yourself, this is a great place. Come with somewhat of an idea of what you would like. Don't be afraid to tell the artist if you need small changes made, they are very nice!
Get a better attitude. Nice place but the attitude has to go. I came in to buy a gift certificate and was treated with a condescending attitude. The woman had no respect by blatantly misspelling the name I had clearly spelled out to her and all-the-while had a rude disposition. A respectful and non-condescending position will go further with your clients.
Citysearch Editorial Review. Anyone who has ever wanted a professional makeup application before a big event knows the options are limited: Make an appointment with an expensive makeup artist, or go to a department store cosmetics counter and feel pressured to buy pricey products. Enter Makeup & Go, a chic, no-reservation-needed makeup studio where ladies looking for some face time can drop in and get their makeup done for as little as $18 for a light touch-up of eyes, cheeks and lips to $60 for a full-face application including false eyelashes, without having to buy anything (in fact, the studio doesn’t sell any of the products the artists use). Guests sit at tables in the middle of the bright, modern studio space and get beautified with brands like Smashbox, Mark, Tarte and Juice Beauty; the result is a quick, professional makeup look that won't break the bank, even for social butterflies. Post-prettifying, a dressing room is available for changing outfits before an event; there's also a selection of unique, stylish items for sale--including cards, books, frames and throw pillows--perfect for picking out, getting wrapping up and taking to a party.
