Citysearch Editorial Review.
Adorable, charming and chic all at once, this luxe little gift shop is brimming with earthly delights. Opened in June 2010, the boutique moved from its San Francisco digs and right into the heart of Montana Avenue when owner Jessica Goldfarb decided to move back to her hometown. Named after a room in old Italian villas used to store lemon trees each winter, Limonaia carries everything from home accessories like table runners, frames, Tea Forte sets, wood coasters and ceramic vases to cozy PJs, contemporary jewelry, stationery, candles, handbags and bowls. There's also a sizable selection of gifts for babies and toddlers (including irresistible onesies adorned with felt appliques like a fox, octopus or even a bitten corn dog; books; Eric Carle puzzles; wall stickers; kiddie-sized tableware) as well as cashmere throws, fun soaps and fantastic special occasion cards that are practically presents in themselves (some are even frameable).
