Presto logistics assisted me with my move last month from Bernardino, CA to Little Rock, Arkansas. The moving crew arrived on time in both locations and finished their job on promised time. I paid a little bit extra for motorcycle transport and they came with the needed equipment for it. They knew how to properly secure the load. I will defiantly recommend Presto logistics to all my friend and family!
The salesmans pitch all along was that it would be as stress free as possible. I've moved a few times and there's no doubt that it diets stressful so I took his word. From the minute the movers got to my house I could tell he wasn't lying. The crew came in And immediately started packing all my furniture. It was a pleasant surprise and It stayed that way throughout. I am happy to refer presto as a stress relieving moving company.
I had such a nice experience with my movers I felt it was necessary to share. Being skeptical of movers is something I feel everyone goes through so when I was choosing my mover I wanted to meet with someone face to face before I signed up. Henry came out to my house and did a walk through. He had his sales department contact me to go over the move details. abe was so nice on the phone giving me all the details and they were very reasonably priced. Henry then came out again on the day of the move with the crew to oversee everything. His estimate was mostly accurate except some of the packing material That he estimated but they used a bit more. The delivercoughs were also very nice, clean, and quick. Like I said, exceptional service.
I just finished college in Plano, Texas. The only job I was able to find that fit my major was in Los Angeles. Being that I grew up in Dallas and really dont know anything outside of it, this was quite a transition. The first thing I did was find an apartment but after that I needed a mover to help me move my stuff. The first person I spoke with was Abe at Presto Logistics. He explained the way they charge and what they charge for. He was very helpful but I wanted to search around and get the best price possible. Within the next 24 hours I must have been called 50 times but every mover out there. After a few more conversations with other companies, I realized Abe was the most knowledgeable and I called him back to set up my move. He sent out a great crew led by Luis. He went over all the paperwork with me and finished the job in just a couple of hours. I appreciate presto making this big trip that much easier for me.
I had my belongings picked up in california about 2 months ago by presto. I didnt have a place in arkansas yet so I was staying by my parents. They told me that i can keep my stuff in there warehouse in california for free for the first month and I should let them know when I get a place in arkansas. After the first month I realized my search wasnt going well so I called them and extended. They were very helpful and told me not to worry, just let them know when I get an apartment. in the next few weeks I finally found a place and called them. They told me they had a truck leaving a few days from then and my stuff would be on it. After a week I got a call from the driver and he told me he would be there the next day. They showed up on time and with everything in great condition. It was very pleasant dealing with presto.
We were misled and lied to by Presto,
spoke with Abe on 12/20 and went through our quote from Mayflower who conducted the survey of our home, I was told by Abe he didn’t have anyone in the area who could come do a survey, so sending over Mayflower’s was good. He reviewed the survey and called me back to discuss, we went through the items, I received the price for $4,900. I asked numerous times, “Would this quote go up?” and was told it would NOT based off the survey of inventory sent. We added nothing to the inventory. Once the truck was packed the volume went up from the qouted amount, the charge for packing material more than doubled. This resulted in a final charge being 57% more than the qoute. I tried to contact Abe as soon as I was aware of the increase (my husband was at the house during the packing). Abe didn’t return messages. On the day the material arrived we were able to force Abe to talk about our issues. Abe was unable to help at the time; he hadn’t recieved the inventory from his driver. We had a commitment if we paid the balance Abe would keep the conversation open regarding resloving our issues. He comitted to contact within 72 hrs; it has been 3 wks and we’ve not recieved a call. I once again would like to reinforce that Abe comitted numerous times the price wouldn’t increase!
Legally if your quote goes up by more than 10% you don't have to pay the full amount until 30 days, so you have time to work it out with company, they did not allow this and made us pay the full amount in cash before they would unload our items. We are working with better business bureau and an attorney on this issue currently.
Also, most the boxes were only packed with 1-2 items and we were charged per box and space and they weren't properly packed.
We also were told our items would be picked up on 1/2, I called on 12/31 and was told still on for 1/2 and would get a call on 1/1. on 1/1 at 6:00pm still no call, I called and was told they would be at house next day, 1/2 between 12:00pm-2:00pm. I had an appointment during that time, so asked a family member to come to house and wait. I get a call at 12:40pm on 1/2 that the truck would be there the next day!!!! We had to be out of the house that day, this caused us an extra day's rent and a night at a hotel due to their lack of communication.
Do not believe the other reviews, as most of them are probably from employees of the company.
I would NOT recommend this company at all, they are very misleading and fraudulent.
I had a very easy transition and I want to think presto for helping me with it. The crew came out to my house they were very professional the foreman communicated very well with me and his crew and they cleaned up after themselves. When they brought everything to my new house in California they put everything together for me and Were again very nice and helpfUp.
Customer care seems to be the number onepriority, I had a few issues on the day of the move but everything was taken care of in accordance. A few of the charges were a little unclear but when I called in i was explained everything and they were extremely reasonable. As for the crews andfre work they did, that was A1! Icould not be happier with that. It was a great service and I def got the most for my money.
As promised, I am writing a review of my experience with Presto Logistics. I found Presto online and I told my rep that I would write a review of how my experience went, good or bad, and he told me I'd be writing a good one and well, here I am. I am pleased to say that Presto did a great job for me from start to finish. From Henry walking me thru the estimate process, to Luis taking care of the crew loading the truck to the driver on delivery making sure that everything was taken care of to my every need. I am very grateful for the service that was provided to me and I happy to share this info to as many people as possible. Best of luck, and if and when I move again I will surely call Presto.
Our office relocation went remarkably well. Your crew did the job in record time. They were all VERY efficient and the move was made without a hitch. I would HIGHLY recommend your company to any business that needs relocation services. My experience with you was commendable and everything promised us was delivered. From your sales presentation (Abe) to your actual moving crew (Frank, Johnny, and Steve) the service was impeccable. My sincere thanks and appreciation for a job well done.
