Citysearch Editorial Review. With its airy atmosphere, wooden banquettes and family-friendly scene, Pizza Antica is an obvious choice for those seeking a break from shopping at Santa Monica Place. As its name suggests, the restaurant's pizza is all the rage here. Pies are topped with everything from fennel sausage, portobello mushrooms and roasted onions to shaved broccoli, caramelized onion and pancetta. But there's more to the menu than just the 'za--mussels in saffron broth, slow-roasted lamb and spaghetti with tomato conserva remind guests that this is hardly a hut.
