ok food, bad delivery. the food was ok. I have had real food in chinatown. but i guess this is fake high end. The food is cold and bad. the worst part was they forgot the fortune cookie.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants!. Even writing this review about this restaurant is making me hungry! I find that it is hard to discover a good chinese restaurant in southern California, but Chi Dynasty is one of the best. Any of their chicken dishes are excellent, especially the Orange Chicken dish.

Menu pictures misrepresent food, Horrible. I agree with other reviewers that this is a 0 star restaurant. Had a bad experience. Ordered takeout on Mothers Day. Got home and the order was not complete. Had to return. Then given 3 whole, unwashed, uncut pieces of iceberg lettuce and a separate chicken mixture and Manger Jason says that is their Chinese Chicken Salad. Couldn't recognize what we were given and told to make the salad at home. No flavor to this food.

Disgusting.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We ordered from here this evening, and I thought the food was so foul I had to write. We ordered:
Honey Glazed Sliced BBQ Pork
Vegetable Egg Rolls
Shrimp Szechwan
Dynasty Lo Mein
& Sesame Chicken.
The BBQ Pork tasted like some sick joke, it was so sweet and candy like I spit it out of my mouth.
The Veggie Egg rolls were soggy. The Shrimp Szechwan was the one redeeming quality this place offered, The Sesame Chicken was decent and I think thats a VERY fair review. and The Dynasty Low Mein was the weirdest of all, there was NO flavor to this dish.. it was so odd. I tried to move the overcooked noodle around my mouth trying to grasp how i had something with NO taste in my mouth.. it was beyond crazy. So my bottom line was: I wish I had saved my $60 bucks and gone to bed hungry.

excited they're locals to me.
I'm super excited they're locals to me now. I use to drive to the Loz Feliz location at least once every month or 2. I really crave this place.
Their duck is amazing. Their sauces are so flavorful & tasty. And their prices are affordable.
I would recommend them to any true chinese food lover.

So excited this opened!!.
I use to work in Los Feliz and I always went to grab food at the Chi Dynasty there. Its a great place to go if you are looking for delicious, quality Chinese that isn't absurdly expensive. They have this amazing vegetarian duck dish that I loveee. I recently stopped eating meat so it's great that Chi has so many veggie options. Lots of yummy tofu too!
My friends swear the real duck is actually amazing and ten times better but whatever. Haha. My coworker loves the Szechwan Chicken but he's really into spicy.
I'm super stoked this place opened in Studo City since its so much closer to me. Now I can get Chi Dynasty whenever I want!

Fantastic Chinese Cuisine..
One Favoritive Chinese Cuisine
When I first arrived at Chi Dynasty, it was a fantastic atmosphere, friendly service, and a great outgoing friendly resturant. This resturant is decently priced with a somewhat highly priced chinese cuisine. I tried the Chinese Chicken Salad and Orange Chicken and absoulutly couldn't resist the taste! I highly reccomend this resturant worth walking back into!

Chinese Food Favorite. i discovered this place quite recently, (they have another location thats been around forever in los feliz??) and fell in love. quite possibly the perfect blend between high-end chinese (quality wise) and the authentic hole in the wall place. the best of both worlds with this one. try the chinese chicken salad, and the curry chicken is also one of my faves.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Located in a small strip mall next to the ostentatious Romanov restaurant, Chi Dynasty might look a little 90s with its red booths, black lacquer furniture and aquarium at the bar, but the space is comfortable and the staff is eager to please. The original Los Feliz location has long been a favorite (more than 27 years and counting!) and now Valley-ites have a chance to taste why: The "Best in Town" chicken salad, steamed veggie dumplings, piping hot sea bass with broccoli, tea-smoked duck and about a million other Chinese standards that stay well under the $20 mark.

chi dynasty in Studio city.
Food has no flavor,,duck sparse and legs burned to a crisp with no meat,
shrimp like leather, sauces all taste the same...
Stopped going to los Feliz restaurant 10 years ago....
