Mediterranean street food like falafel and schwarma goes upscale at this posh hotel restaurant that's popular for date nights and client dinners.

Nouveau Mediterranean fare at the Redbury hotel's fabulous restaurant. It's definitely a scene, but the food is quite good, too. The flatbreads are fun to share, and the whole menu is designed as small plates that are actually quite large. Try the lamb shawarma and the meatball tagine.
This is one of the best place I have
been to in a very very long time! Every dish was made with so much tasty flavor.
We ordered:
Artichoke flatbread
Merguez flatbread
Grill Octopus
Mussel Tagine
Slider Meat
Roasted Lamb
Brussel Sprouts
All were so amazing!
Fantastic. The atmosphere can be casual or romantic depending on where you set which I love about this place. The waiters are SO informative (they REALLY know the menu and culture) and the best part...the FOOD! Not to mention their amazing cocktails!
Go for Joe. Go when Joe is working and be sure to eat at the bar. You can't miss him, he's a tall birdy looking gentleman who always looks like he's a second away from breaking into the Longhorns fight song. He made great suggestions on the menu, and makes great cocktails too. "Hook 'em Horns". Be sure to ask him about the R&B story.
Citysearch Editorial Review. Surprise! Yet another Mediterranean restaurant opened in LA in Fall 2010. But lest you forget that Cleo comes courtesy of SBE--it's located in the group's lush Redbury Hotel--this is one dining spot that promises a real scene alongside the sustenance. The space is shiny and swank with a sepia toned, larger-than-life photo of Cleopatra greeting guests at the entrance, a bar area topped by a dreamy nude portrait, stainless steel exhibition kitchen (including a wood-burning oven) where the chef & co. keep the dishes flowing, and glowing light fixtures that make everyone in the room look just a little better. As for the menu, guests are encouraged to order at least a few small plates each to sample everything from mezzes and flatbreads to fish tagine and Merguez sausage. The brussels sprouts--shredded, salty, chewy, crispy pieces sauteed in oil and tossed with almonds, capers and red wine vinaigrette--will change your life.
