What a wonderful bike tour it was. The "pedal or not " thing is really cool. The tour itself is fun and the tour guide has some interesting tidbits and facts about the area, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, etc. What a great way to enjoy the outdoors and to exercise ( how much of that you get is up to you ). I really enjoyed blowing by everyone else when the motor was activated. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I've been on some great bike trips but the electric bikes are just too much fun. They are also very comfortable and very easy to ride. What a way to spend a day at the beach see new territory and have a blast. They also made it very interesting as they had a lot of information about the area and a little bit of gossip on the stars. I think everyone of all ages and all levels of fitness would enjoy the ride.

During a day trip to Santa Monica,it was overcast and we were looking for something to do. Our tour was simply fabulous as we cruised and saw all the sights-many places we never new existed. The Electric Bikes were really cool and fun.

Electric bike is the best way to get around Santa Monica/ Venice Beach! Our tour guide was really friendly and showed us a lot of public art works and the view of the bike ride is just amazing! The tour to the canals is nice too, it is the cutest neighborhood I've ever seen!

My boyfriend is rather the stay-at-home-and-watch-TV kind of guy, but he totally loved this bike ride!

My wife and I have taken Bus Tours, Walking Tours, Segway Tours in cities and countries all over the world but this is the first time I’ve been on an electric bike tour. It was so much fun. My wife pedaled. I used the electric (and kept up with her the whole way). It was great because there was only one other couple with us and it felt like a private tour. Thanks.

My husband and I went on a Pedal or Not electric bike tour. We had so much fun. My husband pedaled most of the time and I decided to use the electric option more and I never had to break a sweat. The Pedego bikes are amazing! You can go for over 20 miles without ever pedaling. Steven and Barb, the owners of Pedal are not are amazing. Barb gave us our tour and she was so much fun. She would stop and tell us about the history of Santa Monica and Venice beach. She even took our pictures for us. We had a great time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different and fun to do when in Santa Monica next.

Excellent and fun all round. Easy to find, great equipment, properly fitted and attention to safety. Their funky cruiser style bikes have electric motors, so you pedal as little as you like, or even none at all. Great for all ages and fitness levels.

Informative tour takes you through parts of Santa Monica, then down to the beach and bike paths, zipping along through to Venice Beach with stops at important spots for local info and color, including walking through the remaining Venice Canals. Great way to see the sites, enjoy the beach and local life, and get some exercise at the same time. Great for families. Highly recommend.

Stephen and Barb provide their own personal touch which is the icing on the cake of an already great experience. It takes only a few minutes to get used to using the power option which makes the 2.5 hour tour into an occasion for both exercise and relaxed fun.

Barb and Stephen run a first class operation, getting you checked out and comfortable before starting the tour. The bikes can run on battery power for the whole trip, don't think I pedaled more than 5 minutes out of the 2.5 hour tour! The emailed photo's Barb sends from the trip make a great reminder of your time in Santa Monica. I have never had so much fun on a guided tour before!
