Best Cooking Classes in LA
by Babyninja
We have gone to a couple different studios around Los Angeles for a fun night out of cooking and this one takes the cake! The classes are very hands on and the teachers are great, especially the owner Liz, she's so sweet! Each student has an individual station and all the classes begin with a quickie knife skills lesson so you really can come at any level. Of course, this is not a class to become a master chef it's more a great way to socialize and learn some of the basics and some cool recipes. And of course, the best part....you have a big dinner at the end!
I LOVE Cook LA!!!

I have been wanting to take a cooking class for such a long time. I decided that 2012 would be the year that I quit talking and start doing. I couldn't have picked a better place to experience my first cooking class than at Cook LA - it was the best experience I've had this year so far!!! I used to stress about cooking and I always thought it was so hard to do, but Chef Liz taught me that cooking is FUN and EASY! She's very patient with you and teaches you the best way to do everything. I love that she genuinely cares a lot about your health, so she has great tips on the best practices for what ingredients are bad to use and why. My friend and I decided that we're going to treat ourselves to a cooking class EVERY month here on out!!!
Highly recommended A++++

We were really pleased with our experience at Cook LA. We had an amazing time!! We enjoyed the food, the company, the environment and of course the newly acquired skills. Overall we had a blast! I recommend Cook LA to everyone. I look forward to your other classes. Thanks Liz!!!

I highly recommend COOK LA! What a fun experience - I can't wait to go back! Chef Liz is a great teacher - patient, funny and super informative. She had some amazing 'healthy' recipes for us to prepare...and they were all delicious! Did I mention you get to eat what you cook?! I met some great people, and I can't wait to sign up again and take as many friends as I can back. Nice job COOK LA (and chef Liz - you rock!).
