Tips for Tr Hair Studio

DO NOT LET KIKI TOUCH YOUR HAIR!! IF YOU WANT TO KEEP IT.... My overall experience at TR Hair Studio was as follows… The environment is great, nice bright colors makes for a more pleasant experience, the owner was a very nice man and he did several nice cuts on both ladies and men. The shop is wheelchair accessible, and the other female stylists in the shop were very nice, in addition to the outcome of their client’s styles coming out very well...

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT LET KIKI TOUCH YOU’RE HEAD!! DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT LET KIKI TOUCH YOU’RE HEAD!!

To continue on, I am giving such a rating because Kiki the beautician CUT MY HAIR! I went in for kinky twists, but as the days have passed, they are not holding up…More like Lazy Twists really, and at first glance when she was finished, they looked acceptable, aside from the fact that some of them were put in loosely and more hair in one braid than the other, but she opted to blunt cut my kinky twists instead of curling the tips for a more natural look as I had specified. I specifically expressed that that’s how I’d had them done before and that’s how I would like them now. She went on to reassure me that the “Africans” that she learned from showed her a quicker way to finish off the tips of the braids. After she dipped the ends of my hair in hot water, SHE JUST STARTED CHOPPING. I suppose she was in a rush because she’d overbooked herself and had another client waiting under the dryer for over 40 minutes while she finished me up. As I was getting my hair styled, I felt as though whatever she was doing would be workable, being that she is the ”experienced stylist” and when getting styled, you put your trust in that person, naturally, even though what she did is the total opposite of what id asked for as a paying customer.

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT LET KIKI TOUCH YOU’RE HEAD!!

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT LET KIKI TOUCH YOU’RE HEAD!! I’ve been told that a way of evaluating a stylist and work they may be capable of doing would be to look at them…what do they look like?? How well are they groomed??? Kiki’s hair was not combed; her fake nails were yellow and lifting up, she had craters in her dirty looking face which she probably didn’t even wash before she came in that day. I’m surprised I didn’t smell her… I will never let such an unkempt person touch my hair again…SUCH TELL TELL SIGNS. I wouldn’t put the idea of a beautician being jealous of a client aside for one second in a case where there is such foulness. So you’re just going to cut your clients hair off then huh???

She mentioned she was from North or South Carolina and had been doing hair for however many years and that her two grandmothers do each other’s hair and that’s what her family does…is hair…well judging from my experience with Kiki, her entire family might do Baldheaded, but not hair.

It’s even laughable that she was listening to her church music and Christian programs the duration of the time then turned around and did something so ugly. It’s not right, and it’s not good business. Owner be cautious… before she causes your business to have a bad reputation.

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT LET KIKI TOUCH YOU’RE HEAD!! DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT LET KIKI TOUCH YOU’RE HEAD!!

Love my HAIR!!!. I found this salon on citysearch as i am new to LA and wanted to get a weave . . . I was pretty nervous because I always get the perfect weaves from my hometown of Detroit . . . I went in for my free consultation and immediately felt comfortable with the stylist and the mood of the salon. Got the weave and i am DEFINITELY going back!!!! I got soooooo many compliments and i feel and look beautiful.
