INCONSISTENT FOOD----PETTY STAFF. This place was a big FLOP and a dissappointment----worse yet, the food was old, bitter, and spoiled( for a few minutes, I wondered if I'd be getting food poisoning).

I was dissappointed, not because I expected great things of this place to begin with, but because it's a knock-off of the MUCH better eaterie: Vegan Glory .

Alas, it was a very bad experience at this MINUS ONE STAR establishment.

I ordered the Tum yum soup and the cucumber salad.

I asked if, perhaps instead of the too-sweet dressing that the cucumber salad usually comes with, if I might have just some vinegar. The waitress( one of the family, of course), lied that it was all already mixed( I guess she figured she couldn't nickle and dime me on this one, so she just lied. For those who aren't already familiar with Asian-owned eateries: Asians are notorious NOTORIOUS for taking any and all oppurtunities to charge EXTRA for this, that, and the other, even if it's simply a substitution. They are all about the extra buck, and NEVER about the customer).

So I said okay, and just agreed.

Twenty five minutes later( the cook so obviously walked in late, with bleary eyes and a ...hangover?), the cucumber salad arrived, sweet dressing on the side( so that's what she meant by " already pre-mixed"?).

I proceeded to eat the salad, but was halted short, by the terrible bitterness. And the more I ate, the more bitter the cucumbers were!!

At the end, when she came with an artificial smile, to ask if everything was "okay", I kindly mentioned( and I made it clear), that the salad was extremely bitter.

She even immediatly nodded and and said: "Oh, yes, I know, I know."

But when she brought me the check, of course they had charged me for the BITTER, spoiled salad.

I paid the check, left a big fat zero tip, and left.

Won't be going back there.
