Tamar ROCKS. This chick is OUTSTANDING! I've lived in Los Angeles for 15 years and have never had prettier, healthier or better color than now! BEST highlights in town!!. I have been going to Tomar for 10 years, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else!! She is the absolute BEST! She listens to what you want, and makes it BETTER than you could have ever imagined! Tomar makes my hair look completely NATURAL with a combination of low lights AND highlights. She uses a technique called balayage (using cotton versus foil). This method is so gentle on my thin hair, yet somehow, I end up having MORE body. Hair Specialist. Tamar is AMAZING!!!!!

My hair hasn't looked this good for a long time. She created these natural, beautiful highlights that make me feel like it's summer all year round. (Considering that I don't get to lay out in the sun anymore!!) She is also very sweet and now's her stuff, she listens and gives her suggestion. I highly suggest you make a appointment ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best Blond ever!!. I went to Tamar after seeing my friend's hair, who has brown hair with pretty honey highlights, which is totally different from my very blond hair. But, I loved the way it was done and the placement of her highlights. My friend explained that she doesn't use foil, which I was familiar with this technique balayage and had it done before. I visited Tamar at Joseph Martin.

The service was great, Tamar was so sweet, very stylish, and has beautiful hair. So the result is... I love my hair. It looks like my hair when I was 5 years old!!! The grow out is so graceful without those liines you get with foil. It's the perfect shade! I love it!!! I will for sure be back.

Oh and one more thing... I usually get my highlights done every 4 - 5 weeks, so far I'm at 7 weeks and it still looks great!!!! Love, love, love my hair!!!!

Ah-mazing!. I love Tamar, and have been going to her for years! I’m constantly changing the color of my hair and showing her pictures of new ideas, and she always seems to know exactly what I want. She’s amazing! I get so many compliments from strangers – and have even had a few stylists comment on my hair - which makes me love her even more!

Best Colorist in Town!. I'm incredibly picky when it comes to color. I've gone from dark brown to golden blonde over the years and would never trust anyone with my hair other than Tamar. She understands exactly what I want while making it look natural. She keeps my hair healthy and damage free. I love my salon experience with Tamar and would recommend her to anyone who wants to go dark or stay light. She is gifted!

Gets the gray out!. When the gray started taking over my hair, Tamar offered to help give me an edge in that battle. As a man, I was skeptical, because I have seen too many bad and obvious dye jobs on older men. You know, that awful orange tint? To my pleasant surprise, Tamar took the time to do it right, resulting in a great salt and pepper look without nearly as much gray. It looks very natural. The best part is that no one at work can even tell! I will be going back for many years to come.

Very Talented Colorist and Very Professional!. I have been doing my hair with Tamar for years and she is amazing! Her style is very unique and she always knows the latest hair styles and trends!! I color and cut my hair with Tamar and I have recommended my aunts and cousin to her and they are all very happy with the results, especially the Keratin brazilian hair straightening treatments that Tamar does!! Best Colorist!. Love, love, love Tamar!

I have gone to numerous hair stylists and Tamar is by far the best! Her unique technique 'balayage' is the only way to go for highlights. It is so natural looking and lasts so much longer than regular highlights. I could not even imagine ever going back to the old way.

I get numerous compliments on my color all the time. Tamar is extremely talented and her work with color is simply amazing. No matter what she does, she will exceed your expectations!
