Like its other locations in Brentwood, Newport Beach and Manhattan Beach, this retro-styled sweet shop conjures up a little nostalgia with all the flavors and aromas of grandma's kitchen. Creating all-American treats meant to transport guests back to a more carefree time and place, the bakery creates luscious desserts entirely from scratch. Favorites include the frosting-filled cucpakes (red velvet, peanut butter, lemon, coconut and beyond) while other specialties include layer cakes, pudding, cheesecake, pies and cookies.

I was a diehard Sprinkles fan but Susie cakes is far more superior!!!
- Pros: they also have fullsize cakes
- Cons: closed on Sundays:(
