With all the LA establishments boasting the use of local and organic ingredients, it's about time a top chef plopped a restaurant directly inside a Farmer's Market. Short Order, located in the Grove's Farmer's Market is the flavor child of Mozza's Nancy Silverton and the LaBrea Bakery's recently departed, Amy Pressman. Get familiar with the duos towering, artisan burgers made from grass-fed beef and sides crafted with seasonal ingredients made to mimic unpretentious at-home meals.

Burgers are good, service is great and there's a dog friendly outdoor seating. The grass fed beef is super juicy and organic. My favorite is the lamb burger and they do a really good job on making milkshakes. I love that they serve it in a mason jar.

Nancy Silverton's Farmers Market shop has high end burgers, sides and shakes (adult or otherwise).

I love the burgers, but I love the corn pups even more. The batter--made from Anson mills cornmeal--result in the best corn dog you'll ever have. Oh and the house made cream soda is a dream.

Best thing on the menu are the short order spuds! Extra crispy, but creamy when you bit into them! YUM! Plus, who doesn't like a burger sans hormones and antibiotics?!?!? GREAT beer selection too!

I go for the custard shakes! Anson Mill corn pups and fried pickle chips are not to be missed either. Sit at the bar upstairs and enjoy their fantastic libations.

Great burgers and excellent cocktail program at the O.G. farmers market. For eats, Try ida's old school and the spuds. Go off-menu 4 drinks.
