The Hermosilla

For those of us who struggle find a balance between a love for the dive bar atmosphere but general distaste toward skunked PBR, there is the freshly opened Hermosillo. The dream team behind the bourgie East Side Empire that brought us Bar Covell and L&E has arrived in Highland Park. The digs are considerably more understated than previous projects, mild renovations to a former dive space, but the beer and wine menu is every bit as impressive. Well edited craft brews and an excellent selection of wine, heavy on the Spanish, is enough to make this your new, favorite hybrid haunt.
