This inventive creamery was a fun find while walking along Melrose Avenue. I tried nearly every flavor in the case, and although the blueberry chevre, caliente cinnamon and pineapple sage were all captivating, it was strangely enough the roasted banana that I ended up committing to. And I say strangely because up until that moment, I thought I hated banana ice cream. Also loved the banana ice cream pop dipped in dark chocolate.

Neveux is a relatively new player in the artisanal ice cream game in LA, but the shop can hold its own against the Scoops and Mashti Malone's of the world. While the flavors change, they'll usually have the cinnamon caliente chocolate--pair that with the salted caramel and you have a yin-yang of flavors. They're also making amazing stout/beer ice cream bars covered in chocolate and pretzels.
