What Our Expert Scouts Are Saying
The popular Dale Carnegie book, "How to Win Friends and Influence People," offers a plethora of helpful tips to do just that, but we caught an oversight, there is no mention of tacos. Delicious and universally appealing, tacos can be a powerful shortcut to gaining allies. This is especially true if the tacos originate from Steven Arroyo's new concept restaurant, Esquela Taquieria. Arroyo elevates the classics with his branzino fish tacos, spicy habanero cole slaw, organic duck tacos and perfectly charred eloté. While you may think it's ridiculous to spend $6-$8 on street tacos--and maybe it is--allies can be very useful (just consult your history books).

I'm usually not a fan of expensive
Mexican food, but Escuela offers delicious mexican bites without having to worry about the letter grade. Pork green chile tostada tastes like it's straight from Mexico City. Make sure you order your chips crispy, if not they are served on the soft side. The refried beans are rich and creamy. And the Branzino tacos are a must.
