Goodness in the form of Israeli Salads and Skewered Meats.
This place is a gem located in the valley. Eating at Itzik Hagadol delivers an amazing middle eastern eating experience. Their meats are tender and delicious: I recommend ordering their house kabob (a delicious blend of lamb and veal). But the pinnacle is their variety of 20 different salads, which includes one of the best falafels I have had. Even better, all salads have free unlimited refills.
There is no questioning the authenticity of the food and the dining experience. One interesting fact, there are two locations of Itzik Hagadol: one in Encino....the other in Israel.

Skewered meats of all kinds abound at this Tel Aviv export.. Known for its massive “salads” comprised of 20 plates of Israeli-spiced veggies, this Middle Eastern restaurant favors bountiful food proportions. Waiters serve up plate after plate of authentic Tel Aviv fare that tantalizes foodies and curious diners who have an unspoken craving for exotic foods. Hebrew-English menus list strange grilled meats like chicken livers, beef muscles and turkey testicles skewered on metal spears. Diners bold enough have a bite wash it down with black beer, and a side of baba ganoush and sesame-seed pita bread. Less-inclined guests feast on familiar eats like rib-eye kabobs, lamb skewers and baklava.
