I've been looking for high-end appliances for my new kitchen and was surprised at how difficult it is to get a good advice. I went to several different appliance stores including Big Box stores, but I was not able to find what I was looking for, often sales people didn't know much about their product lines. All my troubles ended when I came to Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center. This store is located in Studio City, California. When I first came into the store I was amazed how many high-end appliances they have on display, but most importantly every single appliance was plugged in and I was able to see the features of each appliance live. An incredibly knowledgeable sales person showed me how things work and answered all of my questions. They gave me great advice and without any pressure I was finally able to pick the right appliances for my kitchen. After the purchase was finalized Frank printed out specifications of each appliance that I purchased and asked me to call him one week prior to delivery for an inspection. The installer showed up on the date I requested an inspection and explained to me everything that my contractor had to do for the smooth installation. A few days later all my appliances were installed. The entire process from the purchase to the installation was very easy with Universal. I am extremely happy that I found this great store. If you've been on the market shopping for new appliances, you've probably already had a lukewarm experience at your local big-box home improvement store. Finding assistance was probably just one of the many obstacles you faced, along with a minimal selection, non-functional displays, and out-of-stock or back-ordered merchandise. So, I recommend Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center, they have unbeatable prices, unbelievable selection of appliances and incredibly knowledgeable sales staff.

I am very satisfied with Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center. The ease of ordering and detailed description of the items was certainly very helpful. Their web site is very well organized and very easy to navigate. Shipping was prompt and e-mail confirmations were also very prompt. I usually don't like to order on the Internet, especially large appliances, but I decided this time because I couldn't find better price locally. After I placed an order I received an e-mail confirmation of my order. A few days later my range was shipped and arrived in excellent condition. When I called to inquire about a feature of my new range the sales representative at Universal was very nice and knowledgeable. He was able not only answer all my questions but also walk me trough some very unique features of the range. My experience with Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center was absolutely great, so I would definitely recommend them to friends and shop there again. It's very difficult to find dependable people these days, especially who carry a full line of appliances and I am glad that Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center is one of them. I don't usually like to rate merchants, but I decided to do it this time because I had great experience and I am very satisfied. About 2 weeks ago I called Universal Appliances to repair my refrigerator. When I called to schedule an appointment, customer service representative was very helpful and professional and had scheduled the appointment for the same day, which was very convenient for me. When the repairman checked the refrigerator, he honestly suggested that it was not worth repairing, since the unit was old and one repair would lead to another and the cost of the repairs might add up to the price of a new unit. He suggested for me to visit Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center's showroom in Studio City. I went to their beautiful showroom and bought a new refrigerator for a price that was very competitive compared to other stores. The sales staff at Universal was very attentive, professional and knowledgeable. I had all of my questions answered regarding the features and durability in different models of refrigerators. They even applied the $59 trip charge that I paid to the service technician towards the purchase of my new appliance. I will definitely consider Universal Appliances as my number one choice for my next appliance purchases or repairs.

Joseph and all the rest of the guys are amazing. Just got off the phone with Universal. I blanked on their number, and came on here to get it, only to see all these negative reviews. I can only say that my experience has been exactly the opposite. I haven't bought appliances at Universal, except for a microwave oven, with no problem. However, I have used their repair department for over 15 years. I have never seen such great repairmen. Joseph and all the rest of the guys are amazing. They can fix anything. I know, because I can break anything! And yet, if it will cost more to repair it than it is worth, they are willing to tell you. If you opt to still repair it, they do it. They have repaired my front load washer and dryer, refrigerator, and dishwasher, over the years. And I have always found their repair charges to be very reasonable. You only pay for the "trip" charge, if you opt not to have the repair. I think it is important that people remember that repair people can't afford to travel to your place and diagnose the problem for free. We wouldn't expect people in any other field to do that. My husband said he only wishes that other people were half as good as the Universal repair men are, having seen how great they are over the years. Just our honest experience with them. Be well.

I look forward to ordering from UAKC again in the future.. I recently ordered an Asko fully integrated dishwasher and air conditioner from UAKC after I finally got tired of repairing my old crappy ones. I was very pleased with how quickly they were delivered (2 weeks, just like the y promised) and how friendly the salesperson I spoke to was. I can't remember his name, but he was very patient with all of my questions and explained all of the benefits and differences between my possible choices. I look forward to ordering from UAKC again in the future.

fantastic prices. Just re-did the bathroom, I got all of my bathroom fixtures off their website at fantastic prices. When I get the nerve to finally tackle my 70's inspired kitchen I will definitely heading to their showroom

awesome kitchen collections. I came in last week for a consultation on remodeling my entire kitchen and got great help from the salesman. Within a few hours he helped me find exactly what would work for my space. Found the style I was looking for and best of all they had some awesome kitchen collections put together already. Just waiting for my dream kitchen to be delivered!

Totally worth the drive out to studio city. My oven decided to stop working on me a few weeks ago... right before holiday season. Went to 3 other stores which all said it would take weeks to deliver and install my new oven. Came to UAKC, found an even better oven that matched my current kitchen, ordered it, AND received it and had it put in within a few days. Thank god I got it before thanksgiving or I probably would've had the biggest melt down. Totally worth the drive out to studio city. Would've made it out there way before I went to all those other places if I knew about it!

Now my bathroom looks way better. I was in dire need of a new sink. Mine cracked straight down the middle last week and it was just a complete mess. A friend told me about UAKC and his great experience buying his grill there so I went in immediately. After half an hour the sales guy had I narrowed down to 2 sinks. He told me the specs of both and helped me choose the best one that was also cost efficient. Got my sink 2 days after I ordered it in store. Now my bathroom looks way better almost like a mini face lift!
