I wanted to write a quick review about how pleased we are with our new plantation shutters from Danmer Shutters in Los Angeles. The folks they have working for them are the best. They really care about their jobs and bend over backwards to work with us and get the shutters in as fast as possible and build really high quality shutters at their shutter factory not some junky import shutters from China or something. These plantation shutters are the real deal and made to last.

BUYER BEWARE ! I WAS RIPPED OFF! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Please help my wife and i against these crooks! We have purchased many products while upgrading our home and did not think that the window treatments would be such a NIGHTMARE! We ordered simple white custom shuttersI we ordered the product with a promised delivery time of 2-3 weeks. Now 8 weeks into the order I cant even find an answer from anyone regarding what is going on! The owner came out to the house in his fancy new car and puts on these claims of being a great local company, this is so far from the truth. When we were finally installed 9 weeks total from order date, the paint on the shutters was very poor, and weeks later we can't even get repairs done.

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE FULL OF FALSE PROMISES.

Danmer Los Angeles custom shutters are the best

I went in for consultations at many different custom shutter shops, but Danmer Los Angeles has been in business the longest and in the long run I save money which makes them the best.

Impressed with Danmer Custom Shutters Los Angeles, they delivered more than I expected

I ordered the Interior Wood shutters from Danmer Los Angeles and I was very happy with the products but I didn’t expect to have an amazing customer experience from the installer as well. Every step of the process was memorable and I will encourage everyone I know to become a customer.

Danmer Custom Shutters in Los Angeles was really good

with phone calls to let me know when they were coming and what they were doing. They were great at coordinating times with me. They did the entire house except for one room, and I am having them come back to do the last room as well. The plantation shutters are outstanding. I am very happy with the product. Danmer Custom Shutters Los Angeles is very professional.

My wife and I are happy with our installation.. I'm writing this because most of the reviews seem to be bogus on here. I'm not so much writing it as I am copying from my yelp post and pasating it here. Here you are:

It has been 1 year now since we have had these installed in our home and I've been meaning to write a review about our experience but time got away from me. I can promise you that I'm not an employee of Danmer or someone paid to boost their reputation and frankly I was dubious about buying from them except that I read so much about the thermalite shutters and how energy efficient they are.

When we had the sales man out to our home to measure and look at what we wanted I raised their BBB rating (because they had a pending lawsuit) as well as other reviews that I had read on-line and he was very upfront about his knowledge of some people having issues and that his company isn't perfect but having come from a competing company he stood by the quality of the Danmer products. All the research that I did on-line suggested that the Thermalite shutters will last and Danmer stating a lifetime warranty caught my attention. In talking with the sales person he stated that most customer satisfaction issues came from installation and he promised to get us the best installer that they have.

The installer that we had come out was Shaney and he was absolutely wonderful and did a very professional job on installing the shutters that we had ordered. I do a lot of things on my house myself so I'm very particular about things being done right and after he left I spent time making sure that he lined the molding up at the right angles and that he drilled the brackets in at the right points of the seals, that he didn't make unnecessary holes that he covered up in hopes that we wouldn't notice, or that there were visible staple/nail indentations, etc. I only found one issue with a scratch that they sent Shaney out to fix and he was on site 2 days later and fixed it the right way

Overall I was happy with the sales process; our sales man Bill McQuaid did a great job helping us to understand the construction of the blinds, the warranty, which shades and coloring to go with, and which trims to pick.

I am very happy with our installation and we get a lot of compliments from people that come over that love our blinds. Over all my wife and I feel like we got a good high quality product that was installed the right way. In looking at this as an overall we feel that it was a little high-priced but then again as the years go on and if (assuming that) they continue to keep their color and functionality then it was worth every penny. So far after 1 year though they're doing just fine.

Window installation. Words cannot express how happy we are with our new master bedroom. The room is so beautiful that I never want to leave. Cory, all your fabric choices were perfect, from the windows treatments to the custom bedding. My husband and I can’t thank you and Gary enough for your professionalism. From the moment we contacted shafran construction Company and got Tricia (your assistant) on the phone we knew it was going to be a great experience just from her friendliness. We will refer you to all of our friends.Under Shafran construction all your fabric choices were perfect, from the windows treatments to the custom bedding.
