customer.
I have enjoyed my visits to the Cabrillo. Unexpected beauty, friendly staff and great value.
We try to visit at least once a year.

This marina-side hotel beckons guests to the sunny outdoors..
The Scene
Offering far more character than most Hiltons, this property resides in a great marina location. Harbor hotspots, such as the Ports O'Call Village, Cabrillo Beach, Fort McArthur and the moored Queen Mary are all nearby. Families on a Southern California holiday will no doubt find this an interesting alternative to the more touristy areas. As well, it's close enough to Disneyland, Hollywood and all the other popular area attractions.
The Details
Guest rooms in this low-key hotel are reliable, although only a few have balconies, which is a real shame in such a picturesque setting. Nevertheless, all offer access to the scents and sounds of the water. During sunny days, business travelers will want to play hooky to experience the hotel's best asset--fresh West Coast classics served at the poolside Marina Grill, which offers al fresco, marina-view dining. Fitness nuts will love the bicycle and jogging path, the hotel's tennis courts (a rarity in mid-priced L.A. hotels) and opportunities for adventure, such as deep sea fishing and diving.
