Great Service, Better People – 2nd car purchased in less than a year. Both times i did my dealer price comparison and both times Steve Denson from Hamer Toyota gave me the lowest price. i suggest you do the same and call a few dealers before purchasing and chances are you will end up buying from Steve at Hamer
I came to the dealership fully aware that I have a bad credit score. At first, I was shooting for cars that are beyond what my CS could allow! Marylou, Matt and the team worked out a feasible offer making sure that after the process, I shall not go home empty handed. As a result, I was informed of possibly getting a 2010 Toyota Corolla S model. On the final day of the negotiation, I was given the great surprise of getting the 2011 TCS model!!!Highly commendable also is the return of my cellphone I left in one of the cars I test-drive. Finally, I could say that my experience with Hamer Toyota has been greatly successful! I am grateful to being helped with people who are efficient, effective and honest!
Regarding buying a car, I have never had a more positive experience than with my purchase last Saturday with Hamer Toyota. The sales rep., Reno was informed, professional, courteous, friendly, and very honest. My son, who assisted me, was very much impressed as well. Eddie, in the business office, had been called in on his day off. Despite the fact he had just arrived, he was extremely welcoming and helpful, and again, knew exactly what he was doing and reviewed everything I needed to know, in a thorough manner and timely fashion. I appreciated the help of these employees, and the friendly demeanor of the entire Hamer staff.
Thank You To Doug, And HAMER – I was researching the best car deals I could find on the Internet and found, some nice late model used cars and contacted Douglas Gibbs at Hamer Toyota in Mission HIils to see what kind of deals they were offering. He spent quite a bit of time on the phone offering me different scenarios and showed me that I could better afford leasing a 2010 Camry over the cost of a late model used car with low mileage. I thought maybe if I actually went to the showroom, the deal would change and there would be all kinds of provisions that I hadn't been told on the phone, but....Doug was true to his word: The deal he promised was the deal we got. He was honest, helpful, allowed us to make up our minds while he patiently showed us all the inventory within the price range that he knew we wanted. He was so helpful and informative, and seemed to be there just for us with no distracting phone calls, no trying to make us buy 'up' from what we could afford, and I can't say enough good things about Doug Gibbs and Hamer Toyota of Mission Hills, CA. I must also mention that Eddie in the finance department was also very helpful, kept the deal we were promised and didn't try to add things we didn't need to our agreement.
All in all, Doug Gibbs made us feel completely happy about our new car lease at Hamer. Doug promised us a 'smokin' good deal and the easiest new car transaction we ever had, and he was right! (and he has a great sense of humor!) Thanks Doug, thanks Hamer, and thanks Eddie (in Finance)
I drove all the way from redlands ( San bernardino county) to buy my new scion tc from skip Reese. Due to my needs for special financing ( recent BK) no one would work with me in my area. Skip was amazing! He was not going to let me walk away w/o this car. His attitude was caring, compassionate and most of all he was sincere and honest and aim talking about a car salesman :). I will drive from now on an hour and a half away to buy from hamer due to the complete lack of hassle and true concern for my needs. Thank you again Skip! You will see Chris and I again!!!
I keep my cars a long time because I hate the entire process of buying a new car, but Skip Reese and the Hamer Toyota staff made it as painless as possible. I first made contact through an internet deal on consumerreports.... Skip responded quickly but was not overly "salesy," which put me at ease. He helped my husband and I zero in on the perfect car for our family, and he got us in and out quickly without a hard sales approach. We'll be replacing our other car in a year, and I already know I'll be calling Skip at Hamer Toyota when it's time.
Nilo has been exceptionally great throughout my decision making of purchasing a new car. He answered every question I had, called other dealers to see if they had other prius color options, and he made the whole process go exceptionally smooth! This is the third time my family and I have purchased a car through Nilo because he has such great customer service and he always goes out of his way to please us. Nilo seems to work with the concept "paycheck from the heart" because he is so courteous, friendly, outgoing, and a hard worker.
Excellent job! Will definitely recommend this dealer to all my friends. Marylou and Nilo did a great job. They all waited till I was done with all my paperwork and payment.
I also learn a lot with my new vehicle.
We'll be back – Steve Denson really makes car buying a pleasant experience. We just bought a 2011 Prius, our third vehicle from Hamer Toyota with Steve's help, and each time he did all he could to help us get the vehicle we wanted, at a good price. He is friendly and upbeat, and genuinely anxious to assist his customers in any way he can. Plus, he offered us the car at the best price we found, anywhere. Thanks, Steve, and we'll be back the next time we're car shopping.
Very professional and courteous. First time having a very good experience at a car dealership.There was no pressure and he was always there to check if i needed anything. He also was nice went to my house so i could get papers for my loan. and the person at the credit dept was very courteous too. He took his time and explain all the papers that needed to be fill out. Thanks everyone was a very good experience.
