Have a smoothie and an insult!. Earth Bar is very, very overpriced. You can often get the same supplements on amazon for a small fraction of the price. And you can make the same smoothies at home for a small fraction of what you pay at Earth Bar.

But my bigger problem comes from the way one of the young men behind the smoothie counters acts towards me, and when the owner heard about it, he completely condoned the behavior. The smoothie bar man continually asked me when I went to Earth Bar (sometimes multiple times per visit) if I want a banana with my smoothie. I thought this was strange (and no other employee there had ever asked me if I wanted a "banana"). I simply replied "No" each time the question was asked. Eventually, the man asked me what my profession was, and when I said I was an attorney, he very rudely told me that figured because I never laugh and have no sense of humor, and to him that's typical of attorneys.

I was offended and wrote the owner a letter. I was then shocked when instead of an apology, the owner wrote online that my story was "fabricated." Stay away from this place to save both your pocketbook and your sanity! No one deserves this kind of harassment and insults just because they try to buy smoothies.
