I HEART ARTOOSH. I'll admit..I was a bit scared to sit down in the chair of a dark haired older man, asking for blonde roots! But to my surprise...I walked out blonder than ever and I loved it! He and his wife are super friendly and they always get me in on quick notice. The prices are better than fair. I have been going there for about 2 years and have never been disappointed. I also love that they don't try to convince me to also get a cut every time I go, like a lot of salons do. My hair is pretty long, blonde, and simple..so I can not speak for someone with curly or difficult hair, but for me..it works!! :)

They have moved to a new location right across the street at La Cienega and Whitworth.

BEST BLOW DRY IN LA FOR $40!!!. This is a very small salon run by an Armenian couple in their 50's, they don't advertise about the place so all their clientele is word of mouth. I got a color, highlights and a blow dry there. I am happy with the color, not that much with the highlights but man!! the blow dry was HEAVENLY! and i have very difficult hair to style! (lots of volume and very thick and curly). I highly recommend this place for cut and blowdry. Also very inexpensive: $40 for each service
