Won't be back. Maybe I should stop shopping in Chinatown. You get cheap deals there (emphasis on cheap), but the goods are always a little suspect. This place had some mildly interesting things (not much different than many other stores), but I won't be back. To start with, it took forever for me to get someone to help me. I nearly left and now wish I would have. I was looking at clocks, but they were a bit overpriced and none of them were really what I wanted. I decided to get this cute frog planter with some bamboo in it. Price was acceptable, she came down a couple dollars on what she first said. But here's what will make me not go back: When I gave my debit card for payment, she insisted I give her my driver's license as well. I know that stores used to do this all the time, so eventually I relented and handed it over. I should have just left. Now... this is strictly speculation, but somehow, a few months later, someone used my debit card on the other side of the country. Thankfully I caught it and alerted my bank. So, again, just speculation, but that driver's license info probably came in handy when they were making a fake credit card in New Orleans.
