I'm currently taking banjo lessons with Adam. It's been a great experience so far. He's super talented, mellow and easy going. Not to mention, a true banjo man. I looked around before deciding on Red Pelican and found that a lot of places offer banjo lessons, but with people who play banjo as a secondary or even a third option instrument. I wanted someone who really loved this instrument and with Adam it shows. Also, it must be said that the management staff is very attentive. They followed up in the beginning to make sure all was well, and have been supportive of my schedule. I would recommend RP to everyone of all talent levels.

My experience with Red Pelican was AAA+, no exaggeration, no fluffing. My instructor Sebastian kept it casual and allowed me to set the tone of the lessons. He was agile enough to adjust any preconceived lesson plans based on my preferences and gave me all the tools I need to progress on my own. Look, I'm very much a "30 something" and an adult professional -- I know what I need and how I like things to be; not to mention I'm picking this up from scratch. Sebastian was completely cool about everything and a pleasure to hang out with. If he is representative of your service and business as a whole, I would say Red Pelican Music is not just a full-fledged success, but also a veritable god-send. I would (and have already) recommend this to anyone at the drop of a hat. Having the lesson in my home is a major, major plus too. I am now totally addicted to screwing around with my guitar and its wholly because of this experience.

I am so happy I found Red Pelican Music in the internet. The teachers are great, Cassie my Piano teacher is amazing, I have learn so much, I am going on my 4th month of classes with her. She is very patient and with lots of music knowledge. I strongly recommend Cassie and Red Pelican. I am very very happy :)

Had an excellent experience taking banjo lessons from Adam. Learned not only songs and technique, but also theory as well. Challenging and rewarding, but also very relaxed and fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in music.

I learned more about the blues and jazz in 4 weeks with Ulf than through the 5 years that I tried by myself. If you are serious about learning the piano you should take a lesson with one of the teachers at Red Pelican. Ulf not only molded the plan to my specific interests, he gave me a firm understanding of the basics. You won't find yourself ever running out of things to practice! Totally worth the price because it will accelerate your learning immensely. Fun and challenging, what more could you ask for?

I had the pleasure of taking a few classes with Anthony, and am so glad I did. I went in with hopes to improve my voice, and left with not only that, but a better-trained ear, improved piano skills, and more knowledge on music theory. Anthony's tremendous talent in both voice and piano is more than evident; even his impromptu arrangements are wonderful! As a teacher, he is warm, patient, and supportive. I was able to choose the songs I wanted to work on, which made the lessons really enjoyable. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in piano and/or voice. Brian was also very sweet, prompt with responses, and helpful with matching me up with a teacher. Overall a wonderful experience!

Love Red Pelican Music! I am taking guitar lessons from Scott and he is an amazing player and gifted teacher as well. . .very patient and understanding. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner [like myself] or an advanced player, Scott is definitely the guy to learn from especially when it comes to learning/playing classic rock guitar. You can't go wrong!

Stop looking!. My experience with red Pelican has been absolutely wonderful. I was looking for piano lessons for my 6-year old who had taken some play-based group lessons back in Chicago.

The interactions with the office are very easy, they answer quickly on the phone or by e-mail. I was recommended one teacher, Cassie, based on location and my son's needs. I couldn't be happier. Cassie has been a great teacher. She has really connected with my son with a playful attitude but she's been able to introduce more discipline and focus. He's improving, happy to go and happy to practice. Two thumbs up!

FANTASTIC!. Was looking for banjo lessons here in LA when I found Brian through the Red Pelican Music website. After reading numerous positive reviews – I decided to give him a try. I’m so happy I did because it’s been an amazing experience! Brian’s an extremely knowledgeable and talented teacher. His teaching method is the perfect combination of fun and informative, making it easy to grasp the lesson at hand . Brian's enthusiasm is contagious - Can’t wait for my next session!

My perfect guitar teacher. I have been taking lessons from Brian for about 5 months now and I love it. The lessons are really fun, and so is practicing because I get to pick the songs I learn. He works in the technical theory into whatever song I choose. He knows the kind of music I like now, so he sometimes suggests songs but it's great because it's usually a song I want to learn anyways. I was glad to get back from spring break so I could start up my lessons again.
