not very professional

I wanted to buy a changing table. We went in and found the perfect one. I asked the sales guy to see if he has it in stock, he walks to the back of the store and comes back and says "I can order it and it will take 6-8weeks" I wanted to leave with the changing table that day so I asked him to check on another table, again he walks to the back of the store, pretends to check something and comes back and says "I can order it but it will take 10 days" I agreed, then he asks for a large deposit. They have a huge wharehouse with nothing in stock! They tried to sell me the display which was all scratched up for the same $$$ as a brand new one. So I walked out. The workers don't smile, arent polite, and look like they don't wanna be there. Very unprofessional.

Prices are fair..if you don't mind service from disrespectful men

I was so upset by the time I left Babyland that I couldn't buy their furniture. I live near babyland and decided to look into getting my daughter a new bed. The first time I went in, I felt as though the first man (I worked with) was staring at my chest, rather than having a respectful conversation. I tried to consider the fact that perhaps it was just his demeanor but left anyway to return with my husband. When I returned, I decided to avoid him simply because I was unsettled by his interaction with me, so instead, I chose to go to the older man in the store to seek help. Since we ultimately chose to continue our search, we thanked the man and shook hands with him. Upon my turn to shake his hand, he mumbled under his breath that I was so beautiful, in the epitome of a dirty

man -kind of way...in front of my husband!!! I can't figure out why on earth Babyland would choose to employ people of that nature, especially in a baby store! VERY disrespectful!!
