disappointing, overpriced, small portions
by laelsharon
I was really disappointed with the mazto ball soup - It tasted like a lipton's instant brand with way too much salt and a bit sweet. Not to mention that it was $6.50 for a small bowl. Then my husband and I each had a shish- meat sandwich. The meat was good, when you could find it amongst the sea of unripe tomatoes and diced cucumbers that it was served in. The pita it was served in was nothing other than something you could get at a grocery store, bagged up complete with preservatives. Though our meal came to be $30, my husband had to eat something more when we got home.
The wait-staff was snotty. When someone asked for more pita as a waitress was carrying a basket of pita to another table, the waitress grabbed one out with her bare hands, threw it into their basket and continued to take the basket to the next table and threw it down. We didn't even get a basket with our meal.
- Pros: it's food
- Cons: expensive, small portions, not tasty
Straight out of Haifa, Israel!

Great food for a high price [but that's what to expect for Kosher food]. Great starters and grilled meats. Love their soups and salads. Staff has an attitude but the food is worth it. Free parking in the back and you ca always get a table.
- Pros: Good Israeli Cuisine
- Cons: Closed Shabbat [but you can have take-out prior]
good and eclectic

Really good quality food. Simple, fun atmosphere. Enjoyed by all ages-I also recommend KING DAVID Grill on Pico and La Cienega which is similar food and just as good but different atmosphere.
- Pros: food/good for groups
- Cons: parking

excellent mediterranean cuisine... not much to look at and a bit pricey (7 bucks for a falafel), but worth it. The food is top notch. I ate there once, and became a weekly regular. Overall, though, it's pretty cheap, with entrees running 10-15.
- Pros: excellent food, location
