After raising Hollywood's most powerful filmmaker, Leah Adler decided to open L.A.'s coziest kosher restaurant--and like her son's movies, it's been a hit ever since. Every detail reflects a mother's love: the ruffled tablecloths, the family photos, even the Brahms idling in the background. The eclectic menu hops continents, dishing up everything from chimichangas to spinach crepes. Potato pancakes meld shredded onion and potato with sides of homemade applesauce and sour cream while house specialties include cheese blintzes served with homemade jam. And as the restaurant name would suggest, dairy items are served here.

sweetest host ever. I promised not to reveal her identity, but she has some interesting family down the line. I'm talking about the host, Lili. She is adorable and has a smile that makes you wonder what kind of batteries does she use to keep her on duty even after 85 years...

the food is halavi, kosher dairy, so don't expect any steaks but you will not even miss it as their dishes have all nutricion from good fat to carbos and proteins in them. their desserts are tasty and it is easy to get carried away and overeat :) their pricing is reasonably and I liked the quiet athmosphere, soft music that lets ou talk, eat and listen.

The waiters were superhospital too and ready for a recommendation, may we need any. I can't wait to be back in LA and have another (or more) meals in Milky Way.

Good food. The food was great but the service was not. Our server was quite rude and then forgot to give in our order! After we saw everyone else's food arriving, we asked about ours and it eventually was served. Pasta was delicious!

classy kosher. delicious food, not your typicall kosher restaurant. The owner is very warm and greats every diner personaly.
