I wouldn't call them. Below is an email I tried to send them, but their email isn't even valid. It bounced back. If you need to talk to someone don't call these people they will make you feel worse.

Hi,

My name is ----------. I was interested in counseling.

I talked to Steven Salter on the phone. I opened up to him because I thought it was safe to do that.

It wasn't. When he called back to tell me that he couldn't help me and that I should consider going

on medication and did I have a number to write down a referral who would have the "resources" to help me.

That made me feel like I was a hopeless case. It didn't help.

I have to tell you that if you are going to run a counseling service you might consider being more sensitive

to people and their struggles. Also, having suicidal thoughts is not unusual under the circumstances that

I've been under. I basically lost my job because of this terrible recession.

Some compassion would help more than an evaluation over the phone and then

a rejection over the phone. I don't think you have the resources to help, so I'm glad you let me know.

I should have know when it took someone a week and a half to even call me back when I called three times.
