Great place to shop for the basics: t-shirts (under $6 a pop), underwear and bras ($2-3 each, for DKNY-level lapels), bathing suits (I got a cute bikini for $15!). Their dress selection is pretty weak, though. This is my favorite location for the bargains I always find here, but I haven't tried that many others (the one in West LA on Wilshire isn't as good for clothes but is better for housewares).

The store carries mostly clothes, but also has such things as bathroom decor and gift items. It seems like it is mostly oversstock and last season, but the prices can be amazing. They also have women's suits. On the down side, things are not always orderly. For example, one might sizes commingled. Further, the quality is not always the best. But for the most part, the treasures I've found over the years have held up to continous wear.

Ross is a good store for a thrifty person. It has a lot of brand name clothe for cheap prices. The check out line takes forever and the costumer service is never there to help. i could not imagine going there and not buy something. I would recomend this store to people who have a lot of patience.
