Gourmet brownies finally get their due at this friendly Atwater Village bakery. Forget about boring box mixes, these top-quality, preservative-free delicacies are made with organic ingredients and decadent Valrhona chocolate, which is why the modestly-sized, heart-shaped and traditional square brownies ring in at around $3 to $4 dollars a pop. A snickers bar is still choclate

I walked in once to this location and could not believe the price they were asking for a small piece of chocolate! I will say that I love chocolate, but this put things out of reach for someone like me on a tight budget.
Nice people, warm environment, but too pricey.
After leaving, I still had the urge for chocolate, so I crossed the street to Bill's Liqour and grabbed a snickers and still had cash to get a Pho from Indochine down the street.
Just OK brownies

I've heard a lot about this place. They just came out as Los Angeles Magazine best brownie. So my wife, a couple friends and I finally made our way out there. I must say I was a bit disappointed. We tried a variety of the different brownies they had to offer plus the cookie ice cream sandwiches. The best thing was the ice cream and I believe they don't even make it there. My recommendation is ... if you're in the area stop by but I DEFINITELY wouldn't go out of my way.
- Pros: THE ICE CREAM
- Cons: parking
