A Real "GEM".
My personal experiences with the employees, ESPECIALLY, has ALWAYS been quite excellent.
ALL of the employees are very pleasant, and on those occassions when I needed ANY kind of assistance EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable.
They stock/carry thousands - NO, tens-of-thousands - of items at all times. The mere FACT that their employees can assist/direct you to what you want is a major PLUS.

No cake boxes. Although they do have thousand of party supplies at reasonable prices, They never have cake boxes. Their other store in Downey always have boxes, Lakwood not so much. They can be rude at this store too.
