Shame on you!

Dear Bennett's Ice Cream, (farmers Market @ The Grove)
Unfortunately you pissed off the wrong people! My parents (Mom 67 & Dad 78) who frequent this pace bought a large soda and asked for "LIGHT" ice!!!!!! The guy gave the soda to my mother and when they got to their table my dad noticed that the cup was FULL of ice!
My dad took the FULL cup back over and told the guy that they wanted lite ice. The guy took the ice out and gave the half empty cup back to my day. My dad then said can you please full it up now and the guy told him that they DON'T do refills. REALLY?! It's wasn’t a refill you idiot! He just wanted what he ordered! He then asked for the manager. My dad told Ronald ‘the manager” the same story and he too told my dad that they DON'T do refills! Again! REALLY?! Are you people DENSE?!!!!! My dad wasn’t asking for a refill, he was asking for what he ordered, A LARGE SODA LITE ICE!
Since my dad didn't want to deal with STUPID people he just asked for their corporate phone #. Ronald gave him a business card and proceeded to write on the back of the card “customer wanted refill on soda & rule is no refills”. OMG!!!! Thanks god you people aren’t working as brain surgeons!!! You’d have a very high mortality rate!!!!
My dad called B. Scott Bennett “The Owner” to let him know how he was treated by his employees and his response was “What do you want?” in a rude condescending tone! “What, do you want your $3.00 back?” My dad told him to keep his $3.00 and hung up the phone.
This is how you treat your customers Mr. Bennett?! Shame on you!!! You all need a lesson in customer service!!!

They have fat-free/sugar-free ice cream... pricey but worth it.
The Farmer's Market in general is a great place to buy raw and cooked food - an eclectic mix of old-timers and trendsetters. Now that it's next to the Grove shopping center, it's a good destination for tourists or anyone else.
Handmade Ice Cream

Possibly the creamiest ice cream I've ever tasted! I love their root beer floats and the rotating menu of flavors. My favorite is the pumpkin offered in the fall, and peppermint offered around the winter holidays. They give you generous portions, my one-scoop cone was a virtual mountain of ice cream that I could barely finish. The prices are a bit higher than your neighborhood Baskin Robbins but it's worth it--Bennett's handmakes all their ice cream on site and you can taste the difference. The best place for a sweet treat if you're visiting the Grove/The Farmer's Market.
- Pros: Quick Service, lot parking, Large Portions
- Cons: Expensive, Rotating Flavors (might not always have your favorites)

Ice cream the way it should be

Happened upon this place in the farmers market(bit of a tourist trapbut not horrible for a quick bite) that sold ice cream after asking some 10yr old where he got his -it just looked soo good-so wondered on over and got myself a cone of cookie dough and mint chocolate chip,it was incredible, now iam from new york where every ice cream shop here is trying to be like italy(almost a sorbet)this was just good ole fashion american ice cream-the mint chocolate chip was the mintiest I have had without being overpowering and the cookie dough had a nice vanilla flavor with soft but solid chunks of cookie dough in it.the cone was even fresh and crisp
- Pros: good variety, good flavor, texture
- Cons: in LA but not NY
