Puran's is relatively unknown, and its loyal customers want to keep it hush-hush to sustain the easygoing elegance. Tables spill out onto the sidewalk, lending the candlelit space an airy, Parisian feel. The menu sweeps the globe, melding flavors from Greece, Italy, Mexico and beyond. The Firecracker appetizer's pepper-cream sauce ignites shrimp served with baguette slices. Seasoning is manipulated in peppercorn steak and herb-grilled chicken entrees. Very simple as far as decor goes. Not pretentious. Food is fantastic. Wine is reasonably priced. Not overcrowded or filled with "cool Hollywood Crowds" which is great. Really enjoyed my first time experience here!

I love this place. My husband and I started eat at this restaurant since our first date, which was 4 years ago and we eat there once a week ever since on our date night. We tried almost all their foods, all of them are unbelievably delicious and fresh. The service is always great and the waiters are knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant. We've had great experience!!
