Way over priced, and they don't call you back.... Don't waste your time going there, they will just try to rip you off. They are so nice when you go there to drop off your computer, saying how they are cheaper than geek squad, but they don't even come close. If you have a virus, they will make something up to make it sound like it ruined the hardware and charge you about the same price as the computer when you origionally bought it. For example, I paid $300 for the computer brand new at best buy, and they wanted to charge me the same price to get it repaired at LA Laptop Repair, and that price quote did NOT include backing up any files or pictures. They wanted to charge me alot more if I wanted to back anything up. And they say free diagnostic, but it is only free if you agree to pay their outragous repair price. If you chose not to do the repair, they will KEEP your computer if you dont pay them a $30 diagnostic fee. My advice, don't go to LA Laptop Repair, go to the pros at geek squad.

Best Laptop repair shop. I took my macbook pro to the mac store because i had an accidental spill. I was very disappointed i might add, after all, i spent over 2000 dollars. I was upset to hear that my mac had to have the motherboard replaced and that it would cost me well over 1000 dollars. WOW!!. I saw no end to this until I came across LA laptop repair... I was kind of skeptical at first but i had nothing to lose so i decided to give these guys a shot. IMPRESSED. Not only was well under 1000 dollars and they had it ready in 4 days... WOW... Since then, i have referred all my friends and family....Love these guys and would recommend to everyone else who has a laptop problem.....Very happy customer.

Better off going elsewhere.... I cannot begin to describe what an awful experience I had with LA Laptop Repair. They had my laptop for almost two months and never fixed it. Every time I would call or go in there was always an excuse: they’d ordered the wrong part, the tech was not there, UPS didn’t deliver when they were supposed to, etc. After they’d had it for over 7 weeks I was fed up and went out and bought a new computer. They never even gave me an accurate diagnostic. Maybe for simple software issues they would be okay. But I would look elsewhere if you have a more complex hardware issue or system or if you need your computer repaired in a reasonable amount of time. All in all, I definitely would not go back to them for any reason and would be extremely reluctant to recommend their services to others. I will say that they were always very polite and apologetic. But in the end, the fact remains that they had my computer for two months and did not fix it.
