Used to be really good, don't know what happened. I have been buying my lunch there for years, since 1997. But this last week, when I went in to order(I always get the same item) they acted like they couldn't understand what I wanted. I guess I confused them when I gave them back the hot sauce because then they asked me how I wanted my food. I tried to explain that I wanted it EXACTLY the same as the last 10 years. The new waiteress was rude and the other people acted like they didn't understand what I wanted. Hey, after 10 plus years, I think they should know I wanted white rice and kung po chicken, with peanuts, same as always.

User review by setsko. I love their food because they maintain the home-cooking-style Chinese food that you can find in China Town. And price is very reasonable too. I recommend

Chicken Noodle Soup, Green Beans with Chicken, and Peppers and Steak, Hot and Sour Soup, fried rice(any type), etc.. They may not speak eloquent English, but they are very nice and friendly and provide quick service. I recommend to make a phone order. Normally it will be ready within 10 min. and you'll taste authentic Chinese Dish!

Great lunch / dinner specials for cheap.. Tam's is a good neighborhood place for the person who was a quick meal for a cheap price.

Home Cooking, Chinese Style. Simply the best Chinese food in the Miracle Mile. This family owned restaurant has provided the local neighborhood with fresh, delicious Chinese favorites in great portions for years, and it's so cheap you'll skip cooking many times over. My favorite is the Shrimp Lo Mein, or try the Chicken Noodle Soup. You can't possibly go wrong with Tam's Garden.
