view & uploadwonderful eggs, incredible french toast, perfect country fried potatoes, delicious sandwiches, dry heaves, good coffee, great perk

Conveniently located next to some top quality retail therapy, this place dishes up my French favorites without having to exchange my dollars in euros. It's super popular on weekend mornings but totally worth the wait.

This super cute cafe is inside store American Rag, which gives you a lot to look at while your eating lunch. Great french dishes. They even have seating on the sidewalk to make you feel even more French.
diners beware.
Warning my fellow diners. I am in the throes of major FOOD BORNE ILLNESS after eating breakfast here this morning March 6th 2009. I ordered 2 eggs over medium, a toasted English muffin and a side salad.
IT IS THE ONLY THING I ATE ALL DAY!!!! TEXTBOOK SYMPTOMS!! Save yourselves and don"t go here. BUT if you want to be curled up on the floor in the bathroom with bone rattling chills, stabbing pain in your stomach, and suffocating dry heaves for hours in front of your boyfriend give it a shot.
Fantastic Omelettes.
This place serves excellent brunch/ breakfast items, especially the omelettes.
Sandwiches are delicious too.
Another great perk about this cafe is the menu, which covers so many different items, you will definitely find one (and for sure MORE than one) dish that fits your taste!
French Attitude. I'll admit I like the European atmosphere and even the food at this cozy little French cafe, but the attitude here is too much. I've tried this place several times with friends and every time the snobby servers barely greet us. When we finally do get seated the service is horrible. Each time I've had to get up to find someone to get the check at the end of my meal. If you're lucky enough to get good service you'll probably enjoy the experience, but I've given up on this place.
Huge, varied lunch/brunch/breakfast menuy. For what it is, its great. And its a small "french"-style cafe stuck in the back corner of the Antiques area of American Rag. We were worried at the breadth of its breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu. It seemed too small to handle all those items well. But we worried needlessly. The french toast was incredible and not just because of the fantastic syrup. The eggs with lox and goat cheese were wonderful. And their country fried potatoes were perfect. Really enjoyed the toasted slices of french baguette as well. Even the coffee was good. Great selection of pastries, etc. as well.
