Despite 2002's arson fire, Esther Ginsberg's beloved store rose like a phoenix draped in vintage frocks. With a focus on high-quality pieces from the 20s-60s, the expansive, tiled space is packed with racks of psychedelic summer dresses, Hawaiian shirts and trunks, cashmere sweaters, beaded flapper gowns, silk undies, stunning textiles and embroidered Chinese robes. A large jewelry case highlights bakelite bangles and striking costume broaches.
