The Scene – Situated in the trendy Beverly Boulevard district, this low-key salon was actually a one of the first spots to populate this end of the boulevard--but you'd never know it. THANK YOU PHILIP CARREON @ ESTILO SALON!! I just had the new Brazilian Blowout process done to my curly kinky hair and I love the results! No more damaging hair relaxer ! Now my hair looks silky smooth with soft curls.

Sent from heaven above!!!! She repaired my damaged blonde trashed from previous stylists, to an amazing mane that looks like I stepped out of a hair commercial! I can't say enough about her sweet disposition and fantastic talents. She brighted my highlights while adding softness - my hair never felt better & so do I. I also made a wonderful friend after I found her ;)

Amazing Brazilian Blowout with Philip!

One of the most amazing stylists in town, Philip Carreon, is now doing Brazilian blowouts. This is NOT the scary formaldehyde (sp?) process I read about a few years ago. It is a completely new semi-permanent method of straightening hair without losing body and you can still go curly with hot rollers, irons, etc. when you want.
Philip is, as expected, terrific at it. I trust him completely with my hair and was not disappointed. My hair is frizz-free, AND shinier and softer than it's been in years.
- Pros: Fantastic new straightening process!
- Cons: None so far
