i was thinking about bringing my child here to get dreads but due to the owners extremely unprofessional comments on the negative feed back ( which all businesses get) i think ill pass

Excellent service!!!. I read the reviews before I made an appointment, I must say I was very skeptical due to all the negative reviews but I decided to call anyway. When I called the lady sounded very pleasant on the phone, and also seemed very familiar with the style I wanted. I went ahead and made an appointment and got my hair done. They are no longer in a salon, but this talented girl does it out at her house, it's very quiet and peacefull and I enjoyed that a lot, needless to say my hair looked fantastic, and I will go back to her. he did mention they will be looking a new salon soon but I really don't mind going back to her place, it was a wondeful experience.

dreadlocks. thers one guy in glendale california that does dreadlocks natural and the right way..good vibe and no hassels. search him on craiglist he does crocheting.

Yes, these ratings are ridiculous.
Maybe OMNH was a better place to get your hair done when Rosario had a shop but she no longer has that shop-- it's closed. And there's a reason why: her lack of professionalism. I don't know who she's paying to give her these high ratings but I am making it my business to not let anyone else get their money stolen and hair jacked like I did.
The first time I went in was a few months ago, and it was for a press. Rosario was 45 minutes late to our appointment. I waited for her, because I needed to get my hair done; she didn't apologize for her tardiness but I gave her the benefit of the doubt.
I went in just a few days ago to get twists and Rosario was not at the shop. I called her to remind her about our appointment and she said she'd be at the shop in 10 minutes. She ended up being a half an hour late. Again, she didn't apologize for her tardiness and lack if professionalism. Then she made an excuse about why she couldn't do twists but she could do a rod set. She reminded me over and over again that she had to go to the Jorge Lopez show.
She rushed through my rod set (on the phone and getting directions to the Jorge Lopez show the whole time). Then she took out the rods before my hair was dry but didn't style the hair. She left without finishing my hair and charged me $75. And all she said was, "I'm sorry. I wish I could have taken my time but I have to go to the show, you know?"
This woman is unprofessional and if she is a good hairstylist I haven't seen evidence of it yet.

These Ratings Are Ridiculous.
I agree with a couple of other reviewers. The service is horrible and the attitudes are worse.
I went to get my natural hair done...and came out very disatisfied with the end results. Like a couple of others, I had to go elsewhere to get the look I paid for at OMNH.
Never again! Save your money...and find another place.

All the time and energy that one has to have to attempt to say something negative ..please did you communicate with the owner about your dissatisfaction?Oh! no time but time to try and hurt a Blk business? tell me how many reviews do you write per week ? and how are they? ..and just how many are Blk? ..I just curiuos?.

Its time to get locked up!!.
Im finaly ready to get dreadlocks.. I want to find a salon, (a proffesinal) That does natural locks..well i mean no wax.. I think i might b headed ur way..Hope to see u soon!!

NIGHTMARE -The Worse Lost Their Vibe.
I don't have the strength to tell the whole story but I had dread extensions done years ago at OMNH and they were great, The shop is worn down now and all of the good stylist have left and the ones there are completely incompent. I had my hair done, it took 13 hours, it was horrible. I had it all taken out and done again by another stylist ...it took 2-3 days and it still HORRIBLE. Thank God I had to come to NY and they have hooked me up and I have a
contact in LA to keep it together for me. Don't ask me how much but it went well over 1k to come out with horrible
work and the owner telling me that it was good and accepting no responsibiliy or concern for how I felt or
why she let 1 stylist (I was her second head) and another inexperienced person work on me. A nightmare

Shaquita aka Carolyn Baker I'm sorry that you would want to try and smear our name by going all over the web pretending that you are someone other than yourself..yes I just have to say that I should not have expected anymore from you when in fact you cursed Ray Charles unmercifully when he was in the hospital helplessa because he did not leave you anything in his will..you are deep in your sixties and to behave like this is just on called for. You've come to us for years and and was the one customer that always caused havoc.. but I try and let people be themselves until they get ridiculous and take unecessary enery to try and defame someone .A nightmre? yes a nightmare customer!! get a life!.

Best Naturale Hair Salon. Oh My Nappy Hair Salon is an inviting and down to earth place. Rosario,the owner, is an exceptional educator concerning natural hair. Her establishment promotes being proud of who you are whether you are into the natural look or otherwise. Be proud of your self and confident in the choices you make, is what I sense from the atmosphere of her salon. The laughter from the customers are genuine and the conversations range from politics to relationships are inclusive. Once you step over her threshold, you feel right at home. I've learned a lot about my hair and Rosario has shown me nothing but patience and helpfulness. She has always accommodated me when I just walk in as opposed to making an appointment. Come on in! Step in and be transformed and enlightened!

My stylist Rosario is like no other..Trust!.
she took her time and did a excellent job..she sings well (like a song bird in your ear)
as I sat under the dyer I wittness that she definately knows hair and the different textures

Old school playing on the radio, getting ur do done, while engaged in great conversation..now that's what I'm talking about.
This place get high props, my hair was all that and some LOL!!!
seriously the salon did what it was supposed to do .
