Just Horrible.... Ordered a $12 Turkey Burger at Umami, next to Fred Segal. It came off a pre-packed roll. Straight sidewalls on the meat are the giveaway.

It was a tasteless patty of previously frozen turkey, which was not helped by the accompanying green goo with sprouts on both sides, The burger slides out on first bite!

This is the kind of over-hyped place that LA people flock to for reasons unknown. Kind of like In & Out Burger, with its micro-sized burgers,

From this point on, if I want a great burger and to not feel ripped off, the Classic Burger at Cheesecake Factory blows away anything served at Umami. I know -- Classic is beef, but tastes like steak. Umami cannot come close.

What's the hype about?. It's an overpriced hamburger that does not come with any side. It was good but I could go to the Hamburger Hamlet and receive as good of a burger with fries included. The tempura onion rings were greasy and not crunchy at all. Ketchup was fowl. I am a ketchup lover and could not eat there's. I will not be going back.
