I was a little apprehensive about having anything done to my eyes, for the obvious reasons. After my consultation with Dr. Kagan regarding correcting my near vision with Conductive Kertoplasty procedure, my uneasiness went right out the window. Dr. Kagan has the best bedside manners of any doctor. I have no doubt, that he truly wants the best results for each one of his patience. He thoroughly explained the up and down sides to CK procedure, and answered all of my questions and concerns.

The day of my CK procedure Dr. Kagan consulated with me again. I felt very comfortable in his care. The procedure itself took less than 10 minutes and painless. It took a full day for my eyes to adjust. Now my sight and eyes feel fantastic. NO MORE READING GLASSES.

Thank you Dr Kagan and staff you did a awesome job. I'm 100% satisfied.

NO PAIN .... ALL GAIN !!!!! It is rare that your expectations are exceeded. Before choosing to see Dr. Kagan I looked at the recommendation sites on my computer and found glowing reviews. I agree with all of the nice things that were said. Dr. Kagan and his staff are terrific. Appointments are easy to make and they are kept on time. When I choose my Dr. I was thinking about the Dr.’s skill in surgery. I now realize that equally important is the Dr.’s ability to choose the correct lens to use and the exact prescription of the lens. Dr. Kagan was perfect in his recommendations. I had astigmatism in one eye and the Dr. used a toric lens to correct that problem. Even with glasses, I was never able to see clearly with that eye. Now it is 20/20 ! I was totally amazed at seeing things I had never seen before and the brightness of colors. My other eye did not have astigmatism so he used a Softec h.d. lens. The surgery on that eye was just done 2 weeks ago and I already can see 20/25 with that eye and it improves daily. I see both far and near with both eyes. If the print is very small I need to use over the counter glasses to make it comfortably clear but I can even see it without glasses in good light. I can see the computer with no glasses. The surgery itself is quick and painless. I was at the surgery center for about and hour and a half. The actual procedure took about 20 minutes. I was awake at all times and when I asked the Dr. if we were half through yet his answer was we are almost done. The only problem I had was an allergic reaction to one of the eye drops. I stopped that drop and I was fine. I have told my family and friends that if they need eye care the best Dr. in L.A. is Arkady Kagan. I am confident that they will be as pleased as I am.

Amazing job.. I've been coming here for a few months. I recently had an operation with Dr. Kagan to remove some cataracts. Dr. Kagan did an amazing job and my vision has improved tremendously since then. Dr. Kagan is always extremely professional and friendly. The staff at his office is extremely caring, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Kagan to everyone.

Successful Eye Surgery. Dr. Kagan performed cataract surgery on me in the fall of 2011. I am very pleased with the results and with his willingness to answer all of my questions. I also appreciate the follow-up and the professional yet friendly treatment by his staff.

The VERY best eye doctor anywhere!. It is hard for me to find enough words of praise and love for Los Angeles eye surgeon Dr. Arkady Kagan. He is a true miracle worker! All my life I was nearly blind in one eye. I could barely see an eye chart with it, much less read any lines. Numerous eye doctors in the past told me there was nothing that could be done. Yet today, just one day after cataract surgery by Dr. Kagan, I can already read very fine print with that eye and still cannot believe it!

Every review on the Internet gives Dr. Kagan, who was named American's top opthamologist in 2004, five stars in every department.He is thorough, caring and compassionate and goes to great lengths to explain procedures. He was nearly in tears when he saw the result of his work on my eye. Every couple of months he travels nationally and internationally to professional meetings to keep on top of every modern technological development in eye care. I thank God for Dr. Arkady Kagan.

Dr. Kagan is the best!!!. I cannot say enough WONDERFUL compliments about Dr. Kagan and his staff! They make you feel completely at ease, keep you smiling the entire time you are in their care, and i am always thrilled with the results! Stop Reading and make an appt! You are in great hands! Dr. Kagan is amazing!. I get my cataract surgery done with Dr. Kagan's Eye Institute (right eye by may 2009 and left eye october 2011). When I needed to correct vision, I have decided to choose the best expert in California. Has received info about Arkady Kagan, has learned about his popularity. Having listened to fine opinions, I have decided to entrust this wonderful expert. Arkady Kagan - is an excellent doctor ! Will closely listen about a problem of the patient. Quickly finds the best decision of any difficult situation. Dr. Kagan is extremely knowledgeable and highly professional with scrupulous attention to details. Clever, fair, intelligent. The staff is friendly, Dr. Kagan always makes sure that I'm comfortable, and his staff calls me a few days later to make sure that I'm happy with my results. Dr. Kagan is amazing! I would recommend everyone to go to him. I am very thankful !

BEST EYE DOCTOR EVER!. I have been a patient of Dr Kagans for several years. He has done aesthetic treatments flawlessly for me. When my husband needed cataract surgery recently, I brought him to the doctor. My husband had a very complicated situation, a result of lots of damage created by very early radial keratotomy surgeries. Dr Kagan worked with him performing surgery necessary and guided him through the difficult aftercare and post treatment that has been able to reverse all that damage. My husband is a happy camper now, with great vision.

Terrific!. Dr. Kagan and his staff were terrific. He seemed extremely knowledgeable and I felt very confident in his expertise. He gave me a thorough evaluation on my eye problems. He diagnosed me, treated me and got me on a treatment plan, and in the solution. I left there feeling much better than when I arrived. AMAZING. Extremely satisfied with the outcome of my procedure... Office is clean, MD is amazing, staff are friendly... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
