Great yoga in class, but not at the cashier's desk. A great class followed by unsmiling staff members makes you wonder. Yoga is a business yes, but where is the yoga at the cashier's desk? Be careful grad students when you ask the woman at the front counter about student discounts, she may frown and treat you like a charity case. It's $100 for ten classes, if you pay on day one. Otherwise, it's $16 a class. For the experience it may be worth it, but make sure you at least get a smiling face for your money.

New student: "Can I pay $10 a class, for the next ten classes? Or do I need to pay $100 today?"

Cashier: "You need a valid student I.D. for a one-time class at $13. And that's all I can do for you."

Media appearances, books, videos and devoted followers like Courtney Love and Cindy Crawford help Golden Bridge co-founder Gurmukh fulfill her goal of bringing Kundalini yoga to the masses. Her studio is a comfortable, serene setting. The focus here is on breathing, chanting, meditation and simple postures. Instruction varies from pre-natal to children's kundalini and there's even a class on astrology, tarot and Kabbalah.

Gurmukh is the Best!!!. The studio is beautiful and the classes are great. Definitely check out Gurmukh's class.

Gurmukh is DIVINE. This is the best spiritual, mental, and physical workout I've ever had. Gurmukh is so relaxing yet driving through the whole class. It is truly a peaceful and relaxing place to be. In fact I will go tomorrow. My 5 year old daughter enjoys her class

also. She is a yogi in the making.

Pure Bliss. Every time I take one of Gurmukh's classes I find myself thinking "That is exactly what I needed," when I didn't even know that I was missing something or in need of something to begin with. Her classes are like a breath of fresh air that leave you glowing both inside and out.
