Most Reliable General Contractor I have worked with

We were very pleased how Mike s crew took pride in tying the new room space to the existing space. Everything looks like it was built at the same time and very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It definitely pays to have a good general contractor.

Terrible Overall Experience

We had a very bad experience with Mike Ross and Addition Building and Design. We also learned the hard way to always ask a contractor to see if you can contact and/or physically see the work done on homes that post 5 star reviews as, after our nightmare of an experience, the several we trusted when choosing Addition Building and Designed, mysteriously vanished after we questioned them.

While we enjoy having the addition, it isn't anywhere close to what Mr. Ross all but guaranteed he could do, leading us to take his bid. I'm not sure I would have paid half for what we ended up with. But, we were not made aware of that until demolition was completed. He also left subsequent damage around our home (cutting sprinkler lines in July for a month while we were away, annihilating our back yard, tearing nearly 70% of the newly painted stucco off the exterior of our home without our knowledge and refusing to repaint it, destroying mint condition furniture) which he took no responsibility for. And when I addressed all my concerns the final day, he took his final payment and left without addressing a single issue. We found him to be irresponsible, incompetent and remarkably condescending to myself and my wife.

The subcontractors did fantastic work although there was no communication between them (a contractors job), causing huge delays. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with Mike Ross and Addition Building and Design and very much regret ever hiring him.

We were very fortunate to hire Mike Ross and Addition Building & Design,

Inc. for 2 projects in the past 5 years. I have considerable experience

working with contractors. Mike Ross is the most honest contractor we have

ever worked with, he is extremely knowledgeable and his worker's

craftsmanship is top notch!

Mike is at the project every day - which is unheard of in this day and age

and he is always on time for our meetings. He is always concerned about our

budget and worked extremely hard to stay on budget for us in both of our

projects.

There is absolutely no doubt we would hire Mike and Addition Building &

Design, Inc again. You can see how much he cares about completing the

project on time and how important it is to him that it looks beautiful in

the end. Mike has excellent design ideas and both of our projects were

completed ahead of schedule!

What we looked for in a contractor when interviewing a number of them for

our projects was honesty, knowledge and integrity..... Mike Ross is 5-star

in all these areas!

We had Mike's crews do extra work for us and we paid for these change

orders. However, on many occasions, Mike did extra work for us and did not

charge us.

We were very pleased how Mike's crew's took pride in tying the new room

Kitchen Remodeling

The quality of work was superior; much better than any other contractor because you have a shafran construction. The materials used were of high quality. The workmen were polite, knowledgeable and always explained in detail when you have any questions. Every aspect of this project was a pleasure and the finished results are fantastic. Shafran construction scheduled many project with kitchen remodeling.
