best cuban bakery, best guava pastries, great cakes, great sandwiches, great cuban food, love place, great potato balls
The long line is totally justified. Sloppy-delish Cuban sandwiches, gorgeous cakes, flaky empanadas and a potato ball that can’t be missed.
Great. The apple strudel is fantastic, and the best thing here are the potato balls. They have another location in Burbank. Very good prices.
Goodness!. This is a great spot when the items are fresh and just out the oven.. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the pastries are to die for! I always bring my nephew here for cookies and cupcakes and he never wants to leave... Keep up the good work!
love the food!. i love portos! i have been coming to portos for years to buy a bundle of great bites! one con about this place is the line. but its worth waiting. everything is always so fresh!
Best bakery. Best Bakery I've ever seen really good and service was wonderful.
Really Good But Not Awesome. Hey, I like Porto's. And I go there a lot. I'm just not sure why it's always busy for as big as it is. Hey, I'm happy for them. And like I said, I enjoy there pastries, but it seems just a bit more popular than it deserves. Then again, I'm one of those people going there.
Best place for lunch on Brand Blvd!. I like this place a lot. Their food is cheap and good! I went to this place a few time for lunch and the line is long, but it is worth the wait. If you work in Glendale area, you should try this place. They close at 7 PM.
#1 Bakery. This place is crowded all the time for a reason. Although they have plenty of staff so the line goes fast, this place has to be the best bakery in La area.
....but the lines.....
Pastries and cakes good.
Tres leches excellent.
Lines are insane....and the architect should be forced into the Arena of the Gods against Spartacus,
Forced to line up three different times for coffee, a meat pie and a cake.......crazy.
Avoid Holidays...not because the food isn't good..it is, but the wait, because of the architect I guess.... Is just plain crazy.
Porto's is an all-time favorite!. It has been about 15 years since a co-worker took me to this place and it has only gotten better. It's true that they are always very busy but they have a big staff that serves customers quickly and the quality of the food is outstanding! My fave is the guava and cheese strudels, Cuban sandwiches and potato balls....oh and the chorizo empenadas. Actually there is just too many things that are so good,. hmmm... I think I will see if the fam want to do the L.A thing today and we can swing by. We are out in the Riverside area and it's worth the drive, happy munching.
