love unpealed shrimp, very tasty broth, love killer shrimp, great food, rude service, stale bread, sucks rice
YUMMY!. Killer Shrimp is delish! Although I was shocked they only had 3 menu items, it was okay. I chose the shrimp in the sauce, put the bib on, and went grabbing for shrimp and bread. Not for those who dont like to get dirty eating. Their sauce is great and my brother and I finished up the whole bowl. Recommended for shrimp lovers like myself. Order 1 thing for 3 people- trust me!
Consistent for 15 years+. My 1st time at K.S. was in 1986, most recent - 3 days ago. The food is always awesome. The taste from your first experience has sent me over the edge with mad cravings for the steaming broth in big white bowls, with the slice fresh soft french bread ready for dipping! Stop & get a the kiddies a Happy Meal, wear a bib and CHOW DOWN! Save room for that decadent sweet potatoe pecan pie with homemade whipped cream!! My mom took me, and now I take everyone I know! Take out is great too! Can be romantic outside on deck (MDR) with a full moon!
Best Shrimp, Best Ceasar, Best Pecan Pie. They only serve what they are great at. Their menu consists of shrimp over rice, pasta or in an amazing stew with bread to dip. And for $1 extra you can get them peeled. The best ceasar dressing I have ever had and the pecan pie is perfection. I don't recommend this place if you don't eat shrimp. It is all they serve. Great Food!
awesome shrimp!. I tried this place after reading reviews here. Get the shrimp & bread combo. The shrimp isn't peeled so you gotta de-vein the shrimp but the broth is where it's at. The shrimp & rice isn't as good because the rice sucks up all the broth. The shrimp, broth and bread go excellent with a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I'd go tear it up over there any time.
Mouthwatering Shrimp and Bread. Killer shrimp is tucked away on the second story of a strip mall. It is darkly lit by pillar candles, and the seating reminds one of Denny's. Don't be turned off by the atmosphere, because you'll miss out on a delectable broth seasoned with shallots, chili and butter, filled with large, fresh shrimp. Don't skip the sweet potato/pecan pie, it is topped with fresh cream. The wine is cheap and decent.
KILLER Shrimp.
My boyfriend took me out on valentines to Killer Shrimp. He has always talked this place up, and I was both curious and excited to finally go.
I was amazed! I love shrimp, and the taste even exceeded my expectations. If you love shrimp, Killer Shrimp is a MUST!
I love Killer Shrimp, I'm even going back to take him out this valentines day!
Shrimp shack serves shrimp, sauce and sides..
In Short
Inside the spacious, minimalist room, shiny black tables and faux-snakeskin booths sit beside unembellished, mustard-colored walls. A single sheet of white paper garnishes each table: This is the menu. Three dishes are served with the same incendiary, oil-based sauce: Shrimp with bread, Shrimp with rice and Shrimp with pasta. No appetizers, no extra sauce on the side, no butter, no Parmesan cheese: It's all about the sauce.
YUM. I love Killer Shrimp! My favorite is shrimp in a bowl with bread, nothing beats it. And there sweet potato pecan pie is out of this world and is a perfect end to this great dinner. It's a must have!
delicious. killer shrimp has the best shrimp. A great secret recipe that is sure to give your tastebuds a treat.
Outdoor Catch.
The limited menu makes it easy to order. If you don't want Cajun style spicy shrimp don't go.
The best part of the experience is to dine on the patio - which is enclosed with smoked glass -very plesent especially at sunset. The food is inexpensive and you don't leave hungry - the sweet potato pie with real whipped cream is still the best desert. I tried the key lime pie and it was just so-so.
